In the final alternative ending, we backtrack quite a bit to a fateful date with Lily right before Amanda's disappearance - with a nice walk in the park, some icecream, and finally a tender and innocent lovemaking session in her apartment which makes her liaison with Richard official... much to the dazzled surprise of his and the rest of his employees.
